Hasan Ali and Me | Part 2 | From the Atelier

This is another commissioned piece by Nuriman Manap (Iman). You can check out my write-up about him and his portfolio here. I am pleased and grateful that Iman has accepted the commission to do all the artwork for this series of stories.

I like the melancholic sombre scene Iman created for this part of the series. The scene depicts the place where we imagine Hasan Ali was arrested – by a water tower. There is sadness and tragedy about them with a hint of menace lurking in the shadows. The second art work for this story is in the essay itself.
